The tenant doctors will always see our patients with urgent medical problems that day and we endeavour to ensure that same day bookings are available for non urgent medical conditions.
We have male and female doctors to ensure patients’ preferences are respected.
Dr Madelon AmiesMB., BS, FRACGP

Dr Madelon Amies grew up in Maryborough before moving to Brisbane to complete her medical studies at the University of Queensland. She graduated MBBS with honours in 2012 and gained extensive experience working across a number of hospitals throughout South-East Queensland before commencing her career in General Practice in 2016.
Dr Amies enjoys providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages. She has a particular interest in chronic disease management, preventative health, and empowering patients through education to achieve their best possible health outcomes.
Dr Anjana De Almeida MBChB, Dip Paeds, FRACGP
Paediatrics, Women’s Health, Family Planning, Preventative Health
Dr Anjana De Almeida completed her medical degree in 2001 at the University of Otago (NZ). Her academic and clinical excellence is evident from the number of awards she received in her final year at medical school, including awards for obstetrics and gynaecology, General Practice, Clinical Medicine and Overall Excellence in the clinical years. Anjana worked in several tertiary hospitals and then went on to complete a Diploma of Paediatrics at the University of Auckland before embarking on a career in General Practice. She has over 10 years’ experience working as a GP. She has a wide range of experience in all aspects of a General Practice with special interest in Paediatrics care from new-born to adolescents, gynaecology, family planning and contraception, preventative health and screening, mental health, chronic disease and complex medical issues.
Anjana enjoys all aspects of general Practice. She loves the continuity of care and the opportunity to make a real difference in primary care. she feels that being a GP is a true privilege. Working Mondays, Wednesdays and fridays.
Dr Gihan Gunawardena

Dr. Gihan Gunawardena graduated in 2001 from Sri Lanka and completed his fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2013 and Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics in 2014. Being a Rural Generalist Obstetrician / ED Doctor currently working part time GP / Part time Senior Medical Officer for QLD Health and Senior Lecturer for School of Medicine – University of Queensland, brings with him a wealth of General Practice, Hospital and Academic / Educational experience. His special interests are in Obstetrics and Womens Health, Acute Medical Care and Patient Education which leads to better management and outcomes with longstanding / chronic medical conditions. His non-medical interests are Science & Technology, Energy and innovation.
Peter Melville
Psychologist
Peter Melville is a highly experienced psychologist who joins our clinic with 37 years of dedication to helping others live fuller, healthier lives. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Queensland in 1987, followed by a postgraduate diploma in psychology in 1988. Peter is a long-standing member of the Australian Psychology Society and a Fellow of the College of Educational & Developmental Psychologists.
Peter’s approach is deeply family-oriented and reflects his passion for supporting people to overcome life’s challenges. Outside of work, he enjoys church, tennis, beach outings, coin collecting, and traveling overseas with his family. Peter feels that helping others is his life’s calling and strives to create a warm, supportive environment for every client.
Alexandra Lindeberg
Dietitian
Alexandra is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with a special interest on women’s health, fertility, prenatal, and perimenopause/menopause. She works with women across all life stages, supporting them with evidence-based nutrition to improve symptoms, restore confidence with food, and achieve long-term health outcomes.
Alexandra supports clients with concerns including irregular cycles, PCOS, endometriosis, fertility challenges, pregnancy preparation, perimenopausal symptoms, metabolic health, gut health and weight management. She also works with women navigating hormonal changes alongside busy lives, stress and burnout.
She offers both individual consultations and structured programs, including her Glow Program, designed to provide personalised nutrition support, education and practical strategies over time — helping clients feel informed, supported and empowered in their health journey.
Alexandra works collaboratively with GP’s and Allied Health Professionals to ensure integrated, patient-centred care.

We want to make it easier for you to visit us, which is why we are adjusting our trading hours to include Saturdays.
Starting Saturday, 4 July 2026:
Saturdays: Open 3 out of 4 weeks per month | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Public Holidays: Closed
Are you a bulk-billing practice?
At this time, we are not a bulk-billing practice and all consultations are billed at the doctor’s discretion. For patients holding pension or healthcare concession cards, we do charge a discounted fee. If you require further information, please contact our specialist team today!
Can I get my results over the phone?
Do I need to schedule an appointment if I just need a script?
Yes. For the doctor to write a prescription, they will need to assess you and your ongoing need for the specific prescription.
Do I need to schedule an appointment if I just need a medical certificate?
Yes. A doctor will need to assess you to provide a medical certificate and any further recommendation that you take time off work, study or other duties.
Is the doctor able to write a specialist referral without a consultation?
No. You will need to see a doctor to have a referral written as the doctor will need to assess you and discuss your ongoing need to see a specialist.
Does your practice do home visits?
At this time, our practice offers home visits only on a case by case basis and these are generally for the provision of our elderly or nursing home patients. If you require ongoing home visits for yourself or a family member, please contact the practice and our practice management will be able to assess whether a doctor will be able to meet your needs.
